Dutch Law Graduate (or internship) at Fiduciam (London)

Role description:

We are looking for a Dutch Law Graduate who can help us grow our Dutch SME lending business further. You will be a key member of the Dutch underwriting / case management team offering loans to Dutch SMEs. As this hire is part of a larger talent search, we could also consider candidates who are looking for an internship at this moment of time, with the aim to turn it into a permanent position.

Tasks include:

  • Drafting & reviewing loan and security documentation
  • Negotiating loan documentation with SME borrowers and their advisors
  • Assisting senior management on wide-ranging legal queries (loan- and intra-company related)
  • Managing the life-cycle of a loan (pre- and post completion)
  • Instructing third-party service providers such as law firms, valuation firms, private banks, etc.
  • Project management: ensuring smooth communication and deadlines are aligned across all parties

About you:

  • Law degree with excellent academic track record
  • Native proficiency in Dutch
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in both Dutch and English
  • Relevant experience (student job or internship)
  • Good understanding of business's commercial position
  • Creative and willing to take initiative
  • Diligent and precise
