As a consultant
As an EHS consultant for WSP you will assist in keeping the compliance registers of a specific jurisdiction up to date. Our service includes summarizing legislation and clarifying how businesses are affected by applicable legal requirements. For assurance that costumers are not missing any important updates, WSP keep them informed of legal updates affecting their compliance registers on monthly basis through digital update notifications.

The work will include
* Monthly monitoring of national legislation within the EHS field, including sourcing relevant legislation and summarize it
* Production of business specific EHS compliance registers
* Possible training courses covering EHS legislation

Required competence

Language/writing skills: Mother tongue of the jurisdiction(s) that you can cover and high level in English. As this work includes mainly writing deliveries, you need to be meticulous and have a high level of grammar knowledge and skills in written English.

Degree/experience: Law degree in the specific jurisdiction, preferable with specialization in environmental law or occupational health and safety law, or corresponding practical EHS experience, e.g. Environmental or Occupational Health and Safety consultancy/work with ISO audits

Duration

Time-limited employment, one year contract that may be annually prolonged

Type of contract

Cooperation with private company or self-employment through private company

Work time

Part-time work. Hourly based monthly monitoring work. Ad hoc assignments may be added. The workload differs from month to month and the person we are looking for needs to be flexible in this regard.

Remuneration

Monthly fixed fee, invoiced as private company
