Project description

This new project enhances the ambitions of the University of Glasgow and Radboud University Nijmegen to become international players in researching historical slavery and forced migration. Based on the ‘Life after Slavery’ (LaS) partnership in 2019/20, the team of Radboud and Glasgow historians is also taking a role in innovating the teaching of slavery. The extension of the LaS-project into these new areas of research and teaching is a crucial next step for our departments to become nodes in international networks working on historical slavery.
