RICH & Society
RICH research has a strong societal component. The institute’s research contributes to intellectual debates in society, providing input for newspaper articles, radio interviews and public lectures. Researchers share their expertise outside academia, cooperate with public and private organizations in research and education, and initiate projects to bring science to society.
RICH is committed to interaction with external organisations. Our primary partners are museums, regional and national societal partners (especially city and province), the educational sector and international academic colleagues, (research)institutes and NGO’s. Through requests commissioned by both societal and business partners and (inter)national collaborative research grant projects, RICH research contributes to issues currently facing society.
