Registration form Student Ambassador 2022-2023
Would you like to help prospective students with making the right choice? Do you enjoy sharing your enthusiasm about your study with others? And would you like to earn some money? Then we are looking for you!
It's great that you're interested in becoming a Student Ambassador for the Faculty of Science! On this page you can sign up for this. You will be an on-call employee for various recruitment and information events for your study programme. This job is noncommittal and flexible. You will receive a fair pay, which varies per activity. We are looking for Student Ambassadors for the following activities:
During a student-for-a-day experience, you will show at least three prospective students what a day in the life of a student looks like. They will join you in class to get a taste of the study programme. You will also show them our faculty and answer their questions about your study programme.
As a Unibuddy, you answer questions that prospective students have asked via the programme website. You will install a chat app on your phone, with which you can get into contact with them in an approachable way. It only takes a couple of hours per month and you are free to schedule your own time.
As a member of the promoteam, you are the recruitment and information ambassador of your study programme. There is a promoteam for each programme. Together with peers you form a team that helps on Open Days, Experience Days, or other activities. You also assist in the promotion of your programme via promo videos, presentations, or on social media. But you might also be asked to help with internal activities. The promoteam is coordinated by a student of your programme who will approach you about activities.
As a presenter for Domeinvoorlichting you visit secondary schools in the Netherlands or you give an online presentation and answer questions. In the presentation, you discuss different study programmes using an overarching theme. This allows the secondary school pupils to learn more about the overlap and differences between the study programmes. Please note that you need to speak Dutch at a (near-)native proficiency in order to be a Domeinvoorlichting presenter.
We are looking for enthusiastic students of all study programmes and all years. It's not a problem if you don't have (much) experience with recruitment and informational events. Before each event, you will get instructions and the activity is discussed beforehand. Previous ambassadors have shown that it's great fun to work during these activities!
Interested? Please fill out the form below. You will become a part of our Recruitment and Information Group and we will contact you when we can use your help.
We hope to see you at one of the activities or events!
