KNW thesis award: 2nd price for Judith van der Knaap

Date of news: 13 December 2021
On the 26th of November, Judith van der Knaap won the second price in the Master Thesis Award competition of the the Koninklijk Nederlands Waternetwerk (KNW) for her work on “Mitigating greenhouse gas emissions from sludge depots: an experimental approach”, which she did at Onderzoekscentrum B-WARE and the Aquatic Ecology department. We are currently working hard to publish this thesis scientifically.
Comments of the jury:  'Ook deze studie is heel relevant. Broeikasgasemissies vanuit baggerdepots. En dat alles in een bondige rapportage/artikel. Dit moeten alle baggeraars en waterbeheerders lezen en vervolgstudies, misschien wel met Judith, oppakken.’

You can watch the vlog about her thesis down below, and via this link (https://www.waternetwerk.nl/knw-activiteiten/443-winnaars-waternetwerk-scriptieprijs-2021 ) you can watch that of the other winners.
