What types of classes will be given from September onwards?

The corona virus has consequences for the education and research at Radboud University. The aim is to provide as much education as possible on campus.

When will the schedules be published?

Publication date of the schedules for 2022 - 2023 is 1 July 2022. This applies to all students of all study programmes, and also for the new first-year students. The schedules will be published in your personal schedule and on this website.

When will the course guide be published?

The Course Guide for 2022 - 2023 will be live on 1 July 2022.

Will I need a laptop?

A significant part of the education of the Radboud University will be given online during the next semester and many exams will be administered remotely. It is expected that online classes and exams will remain part of the study programme after this semester.

In order to attend the full study programme, it is important that your laptop meets the following requirements:

  • Windows 10
  • Intel i5 processor (or comparable: AMD ryzen 5)
  • 8 GB internal storage
  • 256 GB SSD storage
  • Internet connection
  • 13 inch display
  • Sufficient battery life (at least 4 hours)
  • Camera and microphone

For the study programme Computing Science, the following configuration is advised, next to the requirements above:

  • Intel i7 processor (or comparable quality of AMD), maximally 2 years old
  • 16 GB internal storage
  • 512 GB SSD storage

It is possible to buy devices via www.surfspot.nl, a non-profit IT web shop with a discount for students on, among other, hardware. Of course, you can also buy your devices somewhere else. Students can download the internet protection package F-secure via SURFspot for free.
