Microbalance
Two analytical micro balances (Sartorius) are available for users to weight CN or IRMS samples that have already been ground to fine powder with the mixer mill. The amount of material is in the range of 0.1 to 40 mg. It is a must to work in a very clean way, in particular when stable isotope samples are prepared.
Notice that the two balances are located at different departments and that the persons in charge differ too.
