Mixer mills

Mixer mills are available to homogenize, grind and mix fibrous, hard and brittle material with a feed size up to 8 mm. The final fineness is down to 0.005mm. For personal protection of users and colleagues against harmful fine dust and noise, USE ONLY IN THE PROTECTIVE HOOD!

There are two mixer mills:

• The MM400, exclusively dedicated to non-enriched material
• the MM310, for enriched material ONLY.

MM400 Retsch for not-enriched material

This mixer mill is located at General Instrumentation (GI) and supervised by the staff of GI (Paul van der Ven for methodologies and applications, and Geert-Jan Janssen for technical matters). It should only be used for not-enriched material.

MM310 Retsch for enriched material

This mixer mill is located at Plant Ecology and supervised by Peter Cruijsen. It should only be used for enriched material.
