August 2015: Several news facts

- Roald Verhoeff Ph.D. (assistant professor at ISIS) has accepted a new job at the Freudenthal Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (Utrecht University). For many years, Roald contributed to the Science in Society specialisation, but he also was involved in other projects such as PARRISE and the Radboud University Science Hub (WKRU). He will leave ISIS in November 2015 and we wish him all the best in his new position. We are happy to announce that we found a successor, namely Lotte Krabbenborg Ph.D., who will be formally appointed in January 2016 as assistant professor for the Science in Society specialisation.
- Luca Consoli Ph.D. (assistant professor at ISIS) has been appointed as coordinator of ISIS education, notably responsible for reflection and academic skills. He has also joined the ISIS Board.
- Prof. Dr. Toine Smits will become the lead of a new initiative, the Alliance Delta Areas and Circular Economy, a collaboration of Radboud University with Hogeschool Van Hall Larenstein (VHL), the University of Duisburg-Essen, the Province of Gelderland, and others. He will stay at ISIS part-time (2 days a week).
- The kick-off consortium meeting for the new EU H2020 project PRINTEGER (Promoting Integrity in Science), coordinated by Willem Halffman and Hub Zwart, is scheduled for September 28 and 29 in Nijmegen.
