Research department Molecular Developmental Biology

molecular-developmental-biology-researchA central theme in the research of the department of Molecular Developmental Biology is developmental gene regulation, with particular emphasis on (epi)genomics, transcription and bioinformatics in the context of pluripotency, cell lineage commitment and disease.

The department is part both the Faculty of Science and the Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Sciences (RIMLS), which is a joint research institute of the Radboud University Medical Centre and the Faculty of Science. The RIMLS focuses on basic science and its translation into pioneering treatments for disease.
