Yvonne has been a PhD student in the lab since October 2019. Her work is about motor decisions and continuous flow, she researches the idea that information flows constantly from brain to muscle instead of all at once in a motor command. Her interests include motor control, consciousness & perception. Yvonne did a bachelor’s in Psychobiology at the University of Amsterdam and a Cognitive Neuroscience research master at the Radboud university. From 2017 to 2019, she was a research assistant at the UNICOG lab in Paris. There, she was supervised by Aaron Schurger and worked on volitional action initiation and its corresponding neural basis. In her free time Yvonne likes to do acrobatics, bouldering & hiking.
