Umoja

Umoja is the study association for the programme Anthropology and Development Studies in Nijmegen and is situated on the campus of Radboud University Nijmegen. Umoja was established in 2006 and spawned from the old study association of Anthropology, Quetzalcoatl, and the old study association of Development Studies, AKOS.

Umoja organises many different formal and informal activities throughout the year, like a conference, get-togethers, eating campaigns, sports activities and annually recurring events like the Umoja weekend, a citytrip and a study trip. There is also the Umoja room, situated in the Spinoza building, room A01.06, where members can come by for some relaxing and conviviality in between lectures.
