Body Illusion

We have developed a series of different experiments in virtual reality whereby the participant could see themselves as digital avatar with varying body sizes. Utilizing partial- or full body tracking, the movements of the avatar matched up with the movements of the participant, giving the illusion of ownership.

Applied expertise: virtual reality, full-body capture, interaction design, programming (Unity).

Client: Behavioural Science Institute.
