Visit a monastery
Every year we visit the Lilbosch abbey in Echt (Limburg), usually for a weekend. During this weekend we follow the abbey's schedule and discover and experience the way of life and the routine within the abbey's walls! This is a special experience in contrast to daily life.
On top of that, there will also be an opportunity to talk to the abbot and ask him all kinds of questions. For example, why he has chosen this kind of life.
The abbey is located in a beautiful environment and also has a farm with special pigs. A good place to find some inner rest. Students en members (up to age 30) of university and HAN are welcome. It is possible for international students to join as well.

Impression of last year:
It was a wonderful weekend. A good time to take a step back and reflect on myself and my life. I enjoyed all the walks and the visit to the farm. I learned how to live without internet, the life in a monastery. I appreciate everyone, including the monks, being so accommodating in terms of language. I want to thank you as well for including me in all conversations and activities. It was a memorable weekend.
