Responsibilities
How do individuals with social anxiety deal with the communicative demands of everyday social interactions? We aim to find out with this project. We are looking for a student assistant to analyse existing behavioural data on communication in social anxiety. In this study, individuals with low and high social anxiety symptoms played a non-verbal communication game. Your job is to replay the interactions and annotate which communication strategies were used by the participants. This will take around 30 minutes per participant.
What we expect from you
- You are interested in (non-verbal) communication and social anxiety.
- You have some experience with behavioural data analysis.
Notes about the conditions of employment
Salary scale SA: minimum of €19,58 euro gross per hour (excl. holiday allowance, holiday money, public holidays and end-of-year bonus). You’ll work a total of 33 hours (on average 4 hours per week) in October and November 2026. You are flexible to schedule those hours.
