Responsibilities
In this position you will support the three coordinators of the International Mobility Office (IMO) and the NSM International Admissions Team. The IMO is the main point of entry for all international incoming and outgoing student exchanges and study abroad activities. Apart from supporting exchange students before, during and after their mobility, the IMO also coordinates the NSM international partner network and the faculty’s Buddy programme. The NSM International Admissions Team is responsible for the admission of degree-seeking students with non-Dutch previous education who want to pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at NSM. Furthermore, they are also responsible for communication around the joint programmes and scholarships. Together with the Marketing & Recruitment Team they also work on the Enrolment strategy and other engagement activities. You will be working for both the International Mobility Office as well as the International Admissions team, providing support on incoming and outgoing exchanges, admissions of and communication with degree-seeking students with non-Dutch previous education, and international partner management.
Tasks, amongst others, will include:
- Answering (student) e-mails regarding information provision and admission-related questions of degree-seeking students; answering questions of incoming and outgoing exchange students.
- Supporting the organisation of presentations, introductory meetings, (student) events, partner visits etc., including your active assistance during such activities.
- Providing campus tours for interested degree-seeking students visiting our campus and providing your experience regarding your study programme during presentations.
- Entering and updating international partner contracts and contacts in internal systems.
- Assisting with the NSM Buddy programme.
- Assisting with preparing content for social media and other communication channels.
- Setting up questionnaires and collecting the resulting data.
What we expect from you
- Native/Near-native Dutch language proficiency.
- Native/Near-native English language proficiency.
- German language proficiency is an advantage.
- Preferably has experience with international students/studying abroad.
- Experience with event organisation is an advantage.
- Experience with creating social media content is an advantage.
- Student-oriented.
- High attention to detail.
- Able to prioritise tasks.
- Capable of working under pressure.
- Responsible & serious work ethic.
- Enthusiastic and proactive approach.
- Available to work during (a part of) the summer holidays.
- Preferably available for at least 1 to 1,5 years .
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
- Preferably knowledge of Osiris/CRM.
- Enrolled as a student at Nijmegen School of Management.
Notes about the conditions of employment
Salary scale 5.1: €19,23 euro gross per hour (excl. holiday allowance, holiday money, public holidays and end-of-year bonus). Hours may vary; on average 10-12 hours per week, depending on the amount of work available. The working hours will be discussed with the student. The interviews will be taking place in the week of 21 September (week 39).
