Toelatingseisen en regelingen voor vrijstellingen

Toelating Kunstgeschiedenis

Het programma Kunstgeschiedenis staat open voor studenten met een bachelordiploma Kunstgeschiedenis of Algemene Cultuurwetenschappen. Studenten van andere opleidingen binnen het domein van de geesteswetenschappen dienen in hun opleiding ten minste 30 studiepunten aan onderwijs te hebben gevolgd op het gebied van kunstgeschiedenis, cultuurwetenschap en/of kunstbeleid. In overige gevallen is toelating ter beoordeling van de examencommissie van de master (voor gegevens zie elders in deze studiegids).

Toelating Kunstbeleid en kunstbedrijf

Met een BA Algemene cultuurwetenschappen of Kunstgeschiedenis heb je direct toegang tot dit programma. Met een BA van één van de letterenopleidingen van de Radboud Universiteit kun je in ieder geval worden toegelaten met 30 studiepunten aan kunstgeschiedenis, cultuurwetenschap en/of cultuurbeleid. In overige gevallen is toelating ter beoordeling van de examencommissie van de master (voor gegevens zie elders in deze studiegids).

Admission to Creative Industries

A completed Bachelor's degree in Creative Industries: Cultural Studies, Art History or a Bachelor's of Arts with at least 45 EC in Art History, Cultural Studies and/or Cultural Policy. Your degree has to be equivalent to a Dutch Research University diploma. The Admission Office will determine if an international student has the required knowledge to be admitted.

Proficiency in English

In order to take part in this programme, you need to have fluency in both written and spoken English. Non-native speakers of English* without a Dutch Bachelor's degree or VWO diploma need one of the following:

  • A TOEFL score of ≥575 (paper based) or ≥90 (internet based), and all subscores ≥22
  • A IELTS score of ≥6.5, and all subscores ≥6.5
  • Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) or Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) with a mark of C or higher
  • Successful completion of a Bachelor's programme that was taught completely in the English language in one of the following countries: EU/EEA-countries, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United States of America

* Applicants are considered to be a native speaker of English if they are from
Australia, Canada (with exception of Quebec), Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, UK, USA or South Africa.

Admission to Tourism and Culture

A completed Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology, Art History, History, Literary Studies, Cultural Studies, Media Studies, English, Dutch, French, German, Spanish, Liberal Arts or a related discipline. The examination committee will evaluate the requirements for admission if you have completed a different kind of educational programme (including students with a Bachelor’s degree from a university of applied scineces (HBO)). A premaster’s programme of maximum 60 ects could be required.
