The Arts and Culture Studies disciplinair package offers insight into the various historical, theoretical and societal approaches to arts and culture.

In the course Cultural Theory you learn to analyse wide-ranging visions on culture. The course Gender in the Arts aims to guide you in reflection on the role of gender in media, arts and culture. Vulgar Culture and Music Culture provide in depth looks into specific aspects of cultural life. The remaining courses offer introductions to the history of western art and culture.
