Master at TCM

Students are always welcome to do their master internship at the Theory of Condensed Matter department in the framework of the Master Physics and Astronomy.

We use a combination of fundamental theory, smart approximations and often the help of computer simulations.The department offers a variety of theoretical and/or computational master projects, that are usually related to one of the topics studied in our group.

To do research in our group, you need a solid basis in statistical physics and condensed matter theory. Knowledge of computational techniques, some feeling for experiments or modern mathematics can also be very useful.
