New book by CCS alumna
Recently, Dr. Ellen Boleij published the PhD research she conducted under the supervision of members of Radboud’s Center for Catholic Studies. Dr. Boleij’s new book is entitled Een draad in het weefsel (ISVW 2020), which examines the relation of policy, spirituality, and the philosophy of Hannah Arendt.
Spraakmakers
Recently, Dr. Boleij was invited as a guest on NPO’s Spraakmakers to discuss how to foster credible governance in a democratic society. As a practicing lawyer involved in public administration, Boleij discusses what is involved in the decision-making process within an institutional and legal framework. In her talk, she highlights the social and moral dimensions of spiritual discernment as an important resource for resistance against rationalization.
