Bilkent University
Bilkent University - the first private, nonprofit university in Turkey - was founded on October 20, 1984, by Professor İhsan Doğramacı, M.D., with the fundamental aim of creating a center of excellence in higher education and research. The University campus is located about 12 km (10 miles) west of the center of Ankara, and covers an area of more than 500 hectares (1200 acres).
Deadlines for nomination:
Apply for nomination to the International Office Law before 1 March in order to be included in the first nomination round of the next academic year.
Availability:
Each year, three students may go on exchange to Bilkent University for one semester.

Accommodation:
Bilkent University offers free on-campus accommodation for incoming exchange students. Subject to availability, this offer is valid for double rooms at Bilkent's students dormitories. Students are expected to file their request before the relevant deadline. Allocations are on a first come first serve basis.
