The LMU Munich Law Faculty is one of the largest and most renowned Law Faculties in Germany. The Faculty is home to one of Germany‘s largest law libraries enabling its students and staff to conduct in-depth research in all areas of law. The research conducted and published by the Law Faculty is highly renowned, nationally and internationally. The university offers a wide range of law courses, as well as special buddy programme for international students.
Deadlines for nomination:
Apply for nomination to the International Office Law before 1 March in order to be included in the first nomination round of the next academic year (for both first and second semester exchange). After the first round selection takes place on a 'first come first serve' basis.
(Nomination deadline at the partner: 15 April for semester 1, 15 October for semester 2)
Availability:
Each year, four students may go on exchange to LMU.
Language requirements:
A good command of the German language is advised, as most courses are taught in German. A minimum language proficiency of CEFR B2 is advised. For recommendations on language courses, take a look at the fact sheet.
