Universidad del Pacífico was founded in 1962, within a context dominated by a continental debate over the model Latin America should follow toward development. The University has since been a key actor in the educational, economic and social growth of the country and the region.​

The university is among the most prestigious universities in this region and has a good reputation in the fields of law, business, economics and engineering.

Deadlines for nomination:
Apply for nomination to the International Office Law before 14 January in order to be included in the first nomination round of the next academic year (for both first and second semester exchange) After the first round selection takes place on a 'first come first serve' basis.

(Nomination deadline at the partner: 1 november for first semester, 3 April for second semester. n.b. in South America semesters are reversed!)

Availability:
Each year, four students may go on exchange for one semester to Lima. They will be selected for the Business School.

Language requirements:
For courses taught in English: Non-native English speaking students are required to submit a certificate of proficiency in English of at least B2 level for undergraduate students and C1 for graduate students. 
For courses taught in Spanish: Non-native speaking students are required to submit a certificate of proficiency in Spanish of at least B2 level.
For Finance and Economics courses, the minimum level required is C1.

Course information:
There are hardly any Law-related courses available in English, but there are interesting Business school courses. Check the university website for the curriculum.

Accommodation:
The international office of the partner university has information and offers students assistance in finding suitable accommodation.
