Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität ändert Namen

With over 43,000 students, the University of Münster is one of the largest universities in Germany. Nearly 5,000 students study at the law faculty. Due to the large number of students, Münster is a real student city with many cafes and bars and bicycles! Münster is the cycling capital of Germany.

Deadlines for nomination:
Apply for nomination to the International Office Law before 1 March in order to be included in the first nomination round of the next academic year (for both first and second semester exchange) After the first round selection takes place on a 'first come first serve' basis.

(Nomination deadline at the partner: 1 May for semester 1 and 1 November for semester 2)

Availability:
Each year five students may go on exchange for one semester to the University of Münster.

Course information:
All courses open to exchange students can be found on this website. There are both Bachelor and Master courses. However, the subjects offered are mainly in German. The range of subjects taught in English is limited.

Accommodation:
The university does not provide housing. Students can register with Studierendenwerk for help looking for housing. Because demand is high, it is important to start looking as quickly as possible!

Dual Degree - Master of Dutch Law and German Law:

Did you know that you can take a Dual Degree? Radboud University and the University of Münster have set up a program where you can take the LL.M. Deutsches Recht, in addition to your master's degree in law in Nijmegen. You complete the program with two diplomas: the master's degree in Dutch Law (or the LL.M. International European Law) and the LL.M. German Law.
