University of Vienna

The Universität Wien (1365) is the largest and most highly regarded university in Austria. The university is the oldest university of all German-speaking countries and has a very international atmosphere: more than a quarter of the students have a non-Austrian background. In addition, the university welcomes more than 2,000 international exchange students every year.

Deadlines for Nomination:
Apply for nomination to the International Office Law before 1 March in order to be included in the first nomination round of the next academic year (for both first and second semester exchange) After the first round, selection takes place on a 'first come first serve' basis.

(Nomination deadline at partner: 1 May - semester 1 and 1 November- semester 2)

Availability:
Each year two students may go on exchange for one semester to the University of Vienna.

Taalvereisten:
Minimum B2 level for English and German (if students plan to take courses in German).

Course offer 
Please note that there is a maximum number of participants for some courses. 
Students can register for courses during the registration period. If there are too many participants when registration closes, a random draw will be made to determine who will be admitted.

Accommodation:
Students are responsible for organising housing themselves. Check the university's website  for more information.
