Due to its location on the French-German border, the Université de Strasbourg has a French-German history dating back to 1538. With more than 46,000 students, it is the second largest university in France. This makes the city a real student city, with a good international climate, partly due to the presence of many European institutions and organizations.

Deadlines for nomination:
Apply for nomination to the International Office Law before 1 March in order to be included in the first nomination round of the next academic year (for both first and second semester exchange) After the first round, selection takes place on a 'first come first serve' basis.

(Nomination deadline at the partner: 14 May for Semester I, 12 November for Semester II)

Availability:
Each year four students may go on exchange to the Université de Strasbourg for one semester.

Language requirements:
Since the subjects are in French, a minimum French language proficiency B1 is required. The university even recommends B2 level.

Accommodation:
Students can register for on-campus housing. Strict deadlines apply! However, housing is not guaranteed. There are also other housing options.
