The University of Cape Town (UCT) is South Africa's oldest university, and is one of Africa's leading teaching and research institutions. The Faculty of Law is home to almost 1.400 students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. UCT has many students from diverse backgrounds, with at least 19% of students coming from other countries.

Deadlines for nomination:
Apply for nomination to the International Office Law before 1 March in order to be included in the first nomination round of the next academic year (for both first and second semester exchange) After the first round selection takes place on a 'first come first serve' basis.

(Nomination deadline at the partner: 15 April for semester 1, 15 October for semester 2)

Each year, two students may go on exchange to Cape Town for one semester.
