The University of Cyprus is located in Nicosia, the capital of the sunny island of Cyprus. The law school was founded in 2006. The faculty's mission is to provide high-quality legal education and encourages its students to think critically about legal issues during law school through a combination of studying legal theory and understanding the legal practice.

The Faculty also focuses on research. The focus of the research lies mainly in the areas of International and European law, criminal sciences and International and European private law. About 6,000 students study at the University of Cyprus.

"Before I left I didn't know much about Cyprus, but it is a very beautiful country with a very interesting history. A weekend at Golden Beach is definitely recommended! If you are there in January, there is even a chance that you can go skiing in the Troodos Mountains."
