University of Glasgow
The University of Glasgow was founded in 1451, making it one of the oldest universities in the world. Over 28,000 students study at the university. It's an international-oriented university that welcomes students from more than 140 countries worldwide.
Deadlines for nomination:
Apply for nomination to the International Office Law before 14 January in order to be included in the first nomination round of the next academic year (for both first and second semester exchange) After the first round selection takes place on a 'first come first serve' basis.
(Nomination deadline at the partner: 20 March for semester 1, 31 September for semester 2)

Availability:
Each year 12 students may go on exchange to the the University of Glasgow.
Language requirements:
Students are required to submit evidence of language proficiency before they can be accepted to study at the University of Glasgow. As part of your application, students must supply confirmation that they are proficient in English in all four components of reading, writing, speaking and listening to a minimum CEFR B2 level. Read more on language requirements here. Glasgow also offers ESC (English for Study and Communication) courses for students and staff.
Course information:
Glasgow offers a wide range of (undergraduate) courses. Level 3 and level 4 courses are interesting for advanced (Master) students. Please note that in semester 2 the course offer is rather limited.

Accommodation:
There are a range of different accommodation options for students coming to Glasgow for the full year or for Semester 2 only. University Accommodation for students attending for Semester 1 only is unfortunately not possible due to high demand. You may apply for University Accommodation 72 hours after being accepted. Application is not possible before you have been accepted. Check the website for more information.
