The University of Ljubljana is the oldest and largest higher education and scientific research institution in Slovenia. The University with its rich tradition was founded in 1919. It has approximately 40,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students. The central building, all three academies and faculties are located in the city centre of Ljubljana. Some of the most recent and modern buildings were constructed on the outskirts of Ljubljana, giving the university and its students a ubiquitous presence in the city.

Deadlines for nomination:
Apply for nomination to the International Office Law before 1 March in order to be included in the first nomination round of the next academic year (for both first and second semester exchange) After the first round selection takes place on a 'first come first serve' basis.

Availability:
Each year, three students may go on exchange to the University of Ljubljana for one semester.

Language requirements:
Students are required to submit evidence of B2-level English proficiency.

Course information:
All courses available to exchange students can be found on this website. The University of Ljubljana does not offer (Master) courses that can be integrated into the Radboud Master's programme.

Accommodation:
Erasmus students can apply for a bed in student dormitories. Visit this website for more information and look at the 'exchange students' text. Beds are given to students on 'first come first serve' basis. The rooms are double, with shared bathroom and shared kitchen. Internet access is available in all the dormitories. The price of the room depends on the type of apartment and size of the room. The average price per person per month in a double room is €90.
