University of Warsaw

The Uniwersytet Warszawski was founded in 1816 and is located in the heart of the Polish capital Warsaw. This broad university has 21 faculties and, with 55,000 students, is the largest university in the country.
Deadlines for nomination:
Apply for nomination to the International Office Law before 1 March in order to be included in the first nomination round of the next academic year (for both first and second semester exchange) After the first round selection takes place on a 'first come first serve' basis.
(Nomination deadline at the partner: 15 May for semester 1, 15 November for semester 2)
Availability:
Each year, two students may go on exchange to the University of Warsaw for one semester.
Language requirements:
A minimum B2 level of English language proficiency is required. Before each semester there is the opportunity to participate in an intensive Polish language and culture course.
Course information:
For the current course offering, visit the faculty website. It is also possible to take courses in Polish. Students may take a maximum of 34 ECTS of courses.
Accommodation:
Students can apply online for university housing. Because the number of available places is limited, accommodation is allocated on a "first come, first served" basis. Visit the International Relations Office website for the registration procedure, more information and tips for other housing options.
