University profile

The Uniwersytet Wrocławski was founded in 1702 by Leopold I of Habsburg, then Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. Due to its location, Wroclaw has been both German and Polish over the centuries, which has also influenced the university. Over three centuries, the university has grown from a small Catholic institution into one of the largest universities in western Poland. Today, more than 25,000 students study at the university.

Deadlines for nomination:
Apply for nomination to the International Office Law before 1 March in order to be included in the first nomination round of the next academic year (for both first and second semester exchange) After the first round selection takes place on a 'first come first serve' basis.
(Nomination deadline at the partner: 1 June for semester 1, 15 October for semester 2)

Availability:
Each year, two students may go on exchange to the University of Wroclaw for one semester.

Language requirements:

There are no formal language requirements. Furthermore, there is an opportunity to participate in a Polish language course.

Course information:

'Exchange students (Erasmus+ and other schemes) may take part in any of the lectures offered within the regular (full-time) programmes provided at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics (LL.M. in International and European Law, MA Administration in International Organizations, Criminal Justice, BBA, Master of Managerial Economics). To see the course offer, please visit the website  and select the programme of your choice.
The participation in tutorials/workshops is not available. The choice should be made by the second class in a semester (enrollment in writing).'
