The University of Florence is an important and influential centre for research and higher training in Italy, with 1,800 lecturers and internal research staff, 1,600 technical and administrative staff, and over 1,600 research assistants and doctoral students. It offers a wide range of study programmes at various levels and in all areas of knowledge.

Deadlines for nomination:
Apply for nomination to the International Office Law before 1 March in order to be included in the first nomination round of the next academic year (for both first and second semester exchange) After the first round selection takes place on a 'first come first serve' basis.

(Nomination deadline at the partner: 31 May for semester 1 and 31 October for semester 2)

Availability:
Each year two students may go on exchange for one semester to Università degli Studi di Firenze

Language requirements:
At least a B1 level is required to take courses in Italian. Almost all exams are administered orally. At least a B2 level is required to take courses in English.
