Other opportunities

Apart from the study abroad minor, internship minor and summer school programmes, there are plenty of other opportunities for you to go abroad (and potentially receive a grant). A full overview can be found on the website of Radboud International, but we have listed some options down below:

  • Attending conferences
Students who want to attend a conference or symposium can apply for financial assistance if the event is closely related to their study programme and if they contribute to the event.
  • Internship after graduation
The new Erasmus+ programme offers the option of doing a study- or work-related internship abroad for a maximum of 1 year after graduation.
  • Radboud Max Planck Internships
Students enrolled in the Research Master's programmes in Historical, Literary and Cultural Studies, and Language and Communication are eligible for this internship scholarship.
  • Dutch Scientific Institutes Abroad
The Dutch Scientific Institutes Abroad (NWIBs) are scientific posts of Dutch universities. The institutes are specifically focused on supporting and nurturing academic education and research and making an essential contribution to the profile of Dutch higher education abroad.
  • VSBfonds: master in het buitenland (Dutch Only)
BA/MA students who want to follow a programme or conduct research abroad after their graduation can apply for a VSBfonds grant.
