PON Board
PON is run by PhD candidates from the Radboud University and the Radboudumc. The board is split into different committees and each committee consists out of 2-5 board members.
Executive Committee
The executive committee exists out of our chair, vice-chair, secretary and treasurer. This committee or also called executive board oversees the activities and strategic planning as well as final decision making, both planning-wise as financial. Next to this they establish general policies, keep track of ingoing and outgoing correspondence and correspond with all PhD councils, PNN and the board of directors. Want to know the faces belonging to the positions? Click here for more information about our executive committee.
Social Activities Committee
The social activities committee organizes biweekly and monthly social events for all PhDs in Nijmegen. Think of the pubquiz, game nights and the PhD gala. Next to this they also focus on internationalisation. You might have seen them during events, get to know them a little bit better by clicking here.
Educational Activities Committee
The educational activities committee organizes monthly workshops and seminars such as the PhD day, thesis printing workshops and the "No Stress November" events. Right now we have four people doing their best to improve your skills and excite you with knowledgeable events. Click here to meet our 'teaching' staff.
Communication and PR Committee
The Communication and PR committee is responsible for social media, PR meetings, this website and the newsletter. If you have any news, a good meme, or you think there is something we can improve upon? Please let us know by sending an email to pon@ru.nl. If you rather send an e-mail to them personally, you could do so as well, which can be found here next to their bio.
Policies and Regulations Committee
The policies and regulations committee is up to date with all policies and regulations around campus. Are you running into issues and need help? Please contact us at pon@ru.nl! Our experts can guide you and/or refer you. To read more about this committee please look here.
