If you are interested in studying abroad for a shorter time, there is the possibility of doing a Summer or Winter School in the holidays. These schools can be done in various countries and offer an interesting program which will enrich your personal and educational skills.

University Autonoma de Barcelona – Summer School – Barcelona – Spain First period 25 June to 12 July / Second period 15 July to 2 August Application deadline first period: 2 June 2024 Application deadline second period: 25 June 2024 Early registration for both periods until 15 May 2024 (you will get a 20% discount if you enroll before 15 May) Summer School of UAB offers 29 courses in different disciplines, each one is three weeks long and is equivalent to 6 ECTS credits. Students can enroll in two courses, one per term if they wish to do so. The fee per course is 910€ and UAB offers an early bird discount of 20% for all the registrations before May 15. We can accept up to 5/6 students per course and a maximum of 20 students for the whole programme. To secure a spot in our courses, we recommend students to register as soon as possible. Before selecting the courses, we kindly advise students to read carefully the course content. Changes of courses on the first day of class will only be accepted under exceptional circumstances. UAB has an On Campus Accomodation called La Vila Universitària. During the first term, there are fewer rooms and apartments available since some regular students stay at the Vila until the beginning of July. Therefore, we recommend students to book the accommodation as soon as their enrolments have been processed. If students prefer off-campus accommodation, they can check the website of the BCU. Linköping University – LiU Summer Academy 2024 - Linköping - Sweden 28 June 2024 – 27 July 2024 Students get to choose from eight high-quality bachelor-level courses (7.5 ECTS) taught in English and gain cultural insights together with other students from LiU’s international partner universities all around the globe. The LiU Summer Academy students are not affected by the Swedish Migration Agency’s extended passport control as the students will be studying in Sweden for less than 90 days. LiU strives for a good mix of students and partner universities are welcome to nominate a maximum of 5 students per course. For students from LiU’s partner universities, the LiU Summer Academy is tuition-free. Along with lectures and coursework, our LiU Summer Academy student hosts have organised a fun and social programme students can take part in. Housing will be provided; a completely furnished single room with access to a fully equipped shared kitchen and a final exit cleaning together with a regional bus pass at a total cost of SEK 6 500. Koc University - Summer Exchange Programme 2024 - Istanbul - Turkey 1 July 2024 - 1 August 2024 Nomination opens: 12 February 2024 Nomination and student application deadline: 1 April 2024 The Koç University Summer Exchange Program promises a culturally fulfilling experience with the inclusion of seminars alongside a selection of summer courses. If you enroll as a Radboud University full-degree-seeking student, then you are waived from the tuition fee for this programme. The list of courses for the Summer Semester is planned to be finalized in late April, however, a tentative list is posted on the catalog. Detailed information regarding Student Accommodation will be posted on their website. Required application documents are as follows: 1 passport-size photo Copy of English proficiency exam or a letter from your study abroad advisor confirming that your English level is minimum B2 (CEFR) Sealed and approved official transcript with a minimum CGPA of 2.20/4.00 for Erasmus countries and 2.50/4.00 for Global Exchange countries. Identification Certificate / Passport If you are interested in this Summer School, please inform the International Office Social Sciences. The IOSS needs to submit a nomination form. The Koç University Summer Exchange Program promises a culturally fulfilling experience with the inclusion of seminars alongside a selection of summer courses. If you enroll as a Radboud University full-degree-seeking student, then you are waived from the tuition fee for this programme.

The list of courses for the Summer Semester is planned to be finalized in late April, however, a tentative list is posted on the catalog. Detailed information regarding Student Accommodation will be posted on their website.
