Overview partner universities outside Europe
Do you want to study further away from home? Do you want to go on an adventure to Australia, Indonesia, or maybe Japan? Or perhaps South Korea offers you better academic opportunities? Below, you will find an overview of the partner universities outside Europe for students of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Important to know:
- Check if the university offers enough interesting courses in a language you speak in the semester you want to go.
- Please note that some courses may not be open to exchange students, so always look if the university has a list of courses for exchange students
- A course with an English title may still be in the local language
- As a bachelor’s student you generally cannot choose graduate courses (= master’s courses). But feel free to contact the International Office at the host university to ask if you can get permission.
- The general deadline for application is 14 January for exchange both in the fall and in the spring semester.
- Once a place is granted, you are expected to accept the place.
Please feel free to contact the IOSS at any time for more information.

CAOS-students/PWO students have priority = students who study CAOS/PWO will always be first in line, regardless of the quality of their motivation letter.
