Ask for a buddy!

NOTE: this buddy programme is for NSM students only! Students assigned to other faculties should contact their own international office.

We want to make your transition to Nijmegen as smooth as possible, and that's why the Nijmegen School of Management offers the buddy programme to incoming exchange students like you! We match exchange students with current regular (international) students. They can help you with the process of becoming a real citizen of Nijmegen, adjusting to the student life, as well as with building new friendships.  In other words, your buddy is a fellow student volunteering to introduce you to your new home and the Dutch way of life. They will be there to answer your questions about the ins and outs of the Dutch culture, life in Nijmegen and about being a student on our campus.

How to apply?

You can apply for the buddy programme by filling in this application form. Depending on your preferences and needs, we will match you with a buddy as soon as we can.

Application is free of charge. We cannot guarantee that we will find a buddy for you, but we will do our best to match and help everyone. This programme does not mean that you can pass on (your) responsibilities to your buddy, he/she can only help you on an informal basis.
