Requirements for a study exchange at NSM
If you are interested in applying for a study exchange at Nijmegen School of Management, then carefully read the following requirements. If you do not meet one of the requirements, we are afraid we cannot accept you as an exchange student.
You must at least be a second year student
You should have completed at least a full year of studies at your home university. This is partly due to the fact that you are always required to submit diploma(s) and a transcript of records of your (previous) education.
Master students who wish to take master-level courses at NSM must provide a copy of their Bachelor's diploma, a transcript of records from their Master studies as well as a transcript of records from their Bachelor studies.
You must take at least four courses (24 credits) per semester.
Language Requirements
You are required to be proficient in English to follow courses at NSM. If English is not your native language, you have to prove that the standard of your spoken and written English is adequate. A minimum of B2 CEFR is required for studies at Bachelor’s level, and C1 CEFR for studies at Master’s level. You have to choose at least four courses for your exchange. You have to be able to understand lectures, read textbooks, submit written assignments and actively participate in discussions and workgroups. Experience has shown that students run into problems if their level of English is below par. They often end up obstructing lectures and workgroups as they are unable to grasp the content and carry out the required tasks, and they often fail their exams as a result. We would therefore like to ask you to make sure your level of English is sufficient before you sign up for a study abroad period at Radboud University. Please check our English proficiency requirements carefully. Your Proof of English cannot be older than 2 years, except for a Cambridge certificate which can be up to 5 years old.
