Facilities on Radboud University campus
Radboud University's campus offers many different facilities for employees and students. Below you will find an overview of our facilities and services.
Internet access
- You can log in to the wireless network with your laptop and smartphone anywhere on campus. The Eduroam wifi network uses your Radboud account, an account that is generated as soon as you start working with us. The Eduroam network is not just available at Radboud, but also at other universities and institutions in over sixty countries. Once your account it activated it will work at all connected institutions.
- For assistance in installing wireless internet on your laptop or smartphone, please go to the ICT Service Point in the University Library (Erasmuslaan 36) or phone the ICT helpdesk at +31-24-3622222.
Restaurants, food and drink
- The university restaurant 'The Refter' is located on campus at Erasmusplein 3. It is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 - 20:00. It has different food counters, each with their unique theme and product range.
- University restaurant 'Het Gerecht' is located in the Grotius Building (Montessorilaan 10). It is somewhat smaller than the Refter but serves hot meals, stir-fry meals and pasta meals, from Monday to Thursday from 12:00 - 13:00 and from 17:00 - 19:00. On Fridays it closes at 16:00.
- University Restaurant FNWI in the Huygens building (Heyendaalseweg 135) serves warm snacks and sandwiches. Opening times are 8:30 - 17:30.
Faculty Club Huize Heyendael can be booked for lunches and meetings for larger groups.
- RadboudUMC's restaurant can be accessed at UMC's central entrance, route 607. It is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 - 20:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 - 20:00.
- There are also several cafes ons campus, such as Cultuur Café, Sports Café The Yard, Café C and DE Café where, besides drinks, you can always enjoy a small lunch or a pizza.
- At SPAR university supermarket next to the main entrance of the Erasmus Building you can buy microwave meals, sandwiches and snacks. It is opened from 8:00 - 21:00 on Monday to Thursday and from 8:00 - 19:00 on Friday.
Post & Print
Post & Print is located on the ground floor of the Erasmus building, Erasmusplein 1, room 00.51. They open during office hours.
- They offer print and photocopying services.
- They sell stamps.
- You can post your mail there - see the overview of postage costs in the Netherlands.
ATM
- You can find an ATM in the main entrance hall of the Radboud UMC hospital, Geert Grooteplein 10. Read more on ATM's.
